Please read all class descriptions below before enrolling in class. Dancers’ class placement is subject to change at teachers discretion, at any time. Our goal is to ensure that every dancer has an enjoyable experience.

Kid Classes

*HAIR IS TO BE PULLED BACK OUT OF THE FACE IN A LOW PONYTAIL

Tiny Toes - Ages 3-5

In this class, dancers will be learning the fundamentals of dance using numbers , colors, and shapes as well as sharpening memory by teaching choreography for them to remember. Dancers must be fully potty trained. Dancers will be doing jazz, tap and ballet. This class is offered twice a week.

Attire:

Girls - lavender/purple leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, black jazz shoes, hair pulled back out of face

Boys - Black or white short sleeve shirt, black pants, black socks, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes

Kids Combo - Ages 6-9

For dancers that want to experience a little bit of everything. Our combo class consists of jazz, tap and ballet. This class is offered twice a week based on age.

Attire:

Girls - pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, black jazz shoes, hair pulled back out of face

Boys - Black or white short sleeve shirt, black pants, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes, black jazz shoes

Ballet/Lyrical

Level 1

Level 1 Ballet/Lyrical is perfect for dancers new to ballet and lyrical dance. Students will learn the basic techniques of ballet, including posture, alignment, and simple movements at the barre. The lyrical portion will focus on expressing emotion through graceful, flowing movements, connecting the dance to music. This class emphasizes foundational skills, coordination, and developing a love for dance in a supportive environment.

Attire:

Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair pulled back out of face

Level 2

Level 2 Ballet/Lyrical is designed for dancers with basic experience in ballet and lyrical dance. This class builds on foundational ballet techniques, introducing more complex barre work, turns, and jumps. In the lyrical portion, students will explore deeper emotional expression and begin to combine fluid movements with their growing technical skills. The focus is on improving strength, flexibility, and coordination, while encouraging creativity and connection to the music.

Level 3

Level 3 Ballet/Lyrical class is for dancers with a strong foundation in ballet and lyrical techniques. Students will refine advanced ballet skills while exploring lyrical movement that emphasizes emotional expression and storytelling. The focus will be on improving strength, flexibility, and musicality, blending the precision of ballet with the fluidity of lyrical dance.

Jazz

*PLEASE NOTE: DANCERS WANTING TO TAKE JAZZ MUST BE ENROLLED IN BALLET

LEVEL 1

Level 1 dancers will learn fundamental jazz techniques, including kicks, turns, and leaps, while focusing on rhythm, coordination, and musicality. The class emphasizes fun and energy, helping students build confidence and develop a strong foundation in jazz dance. It’s a perfect starting point for those new to jazz or looking to enhance their skills in an upbeat, supportive environment.

LEVEL 2

Level 2 is designed for dancers with basic jazz experience who are ready to advance their skills. This class builds on fundamental techniques, introducing more intricate combinations, faster-paced choreography, and a focus on sharpness and precision. Students will work on improving their strength, flexibility, and musicality, while exploring a variety of jazz styles. The class encourages personal expression and performance quality in an energetic and supportive environment.

LEVEL 3

Level 3 is for dancers with a strong foundation in jazz technique, ready to take their skills to the next level. This class focuses on advanced combinations, intricate footwork, and dynamic movement. Students will work on refining their precision, strength, and flexibility, while exploring a wide range of jazz styles. Emphasis is placed on performance quality, musicality, and the ability to quickly learn and execute complex choreography.

Hip Hop

Attire for all hip hop classes:

Shirt, pants, sneakers (NO OUTSIDE SHOES ON STUDIO FLOOR)

Kids Hip Hop - Ages 6-8

Hip Hop class where the students will learn fun, upbeat moves and routines

Pre-Teen - Ages 9-12

Hip hop class for beginner level hip hop dancers within this age group. Students will learn fun, upbeat moves and routines

Teen Hip Hop - Ages 12+

Hip Hop class for teens where students will learn fun, upbeat moves and routines

Specialty

Tap

This class caters to both beginners and those with some tap experience. In Level 1, students will learn the basics of tap dance, focusing on fundamental steps, rhythms, and techniques to build a strong foundation. As they progress to Level 2, dancers will be introduced to more complex rhythms, faster footwork, and a wider range of tap steps. The class emphasizes coordination, musicality, and creativity, helping dancers refine their technique and enjoy the art of tap dance in a fun, supportive environment.

Tumbling

We offer 5 levels of tumbling; preschool, intro, beginner, intermediate and teen. Classes will work on strength, control, tumbling basics, fundamentals, technique and tricks.

Attire:

Shirt, shorts or leggings, barefoot

Specialty - Ages 10+

This class will focus on a new dance style every few months, expanding their dance knowledge and training. Classes will range from tumbling, modern, African, hula, contemporary and many other styles.

Dependent on the class for that month

Stretching & Conditioning - Ages 9 and up (Recommended for Level 1 & Level 2 Dancers)

Join us for a flexibility and conditioning class, where you'll experience a blend of stretches, exercises, and techniques designed to enhance your flexibility, mobility, and overall physical well-being. Class highlights include:

  • Warm-Up and Mobility Drills, Static and Dynamic Stretching, Prop-Based Flexibility Work, Core and Strength Conditioning, Balance and Coordination Challenges, Breathing and Mindfulness, Cool Down and Flexibility Maintenance, Progressive Programming

Aerial

*HAIR IS TO BE PULLED BACK OUT OF THE FACE IN A LOW PONYTAIL OR A BUN

*THIS IS A SPECIAL SKILLS CLASS AND IS THEREFORE CHARGED SEPARATELY FROM REGULAR TUITION.

*PLACEMENT OR INTRO CLASS REQUIRED SO TEACHER CAN SEE SKILL LEVEL AND PLACE DANCER IN APPROPRIATE CLASS

Aerial/Silks - Ages 6+

This class will range from intro level to intermediate level. Students will work on upper body and core strength as well as the fundamentals of aerial hoop and silks in the air. Tumbling is required for this class.

Attire:

Fitted shirt or sports bra, leggings (no bare legs), barefoot

*Be sure to limit your lotion and/or oil usage before coming to class. To much lotion/oil can result in the inability to grip and stay in the hoop or silks.

Study Hall

Open to ALL school aged studio students

This class is used for students to complete homework, study for exams, and work on assignments in a quiet, supervised environment. It provides time for independent study, group study and helps students stay organized and on top of their academic responsibilities. Tutors can be provided upon request. Parents will need to sign up their dancer in advance to make sure a staff member is there to open the studio for students.
